Hierarchy

I believe like Steinbach, Bove and Eggleston hierarchy (or lack of in Eggleston's case) is an incredibly important term to be applied to artworks, especially of the object based type. I've been looking at an exhibition from 2008 online that seems to sum it up perfectly through the writings of Heidegger and others-
Strange Events Permit Themselves the Luxury of Occurring
